INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

When first powering up a Windows 2000 operating system with an Altos S300 enclosure attached,  Windows 2000 will launch the "Found New Hardware Wizard". This wizard requires the installation of a suitable device driver for the attached enclosure(s). The device driver should be installed by following this procedure:

Attach the enclosure(s) to a Windows 2000 system as described previously. Boot the system and log in (with Administrator privileges).  [. . . ] It should appear under the `System devices' section.
