The port replicator is designed to connect to the ExtensaTM computer and duplicates all of the ports on your computer plus additional ports.  [. . . ] Connects to an external PS/2 keyboard or numeric keypad. If you are connecting a keyboard with a 5-pin DIN connector,  you need to purchase a 6-pin mini-DIN adapter. Connects to a television monitor via its videoinput jack. Connects to a line out device such as headphones or amplified speakers.  [. . . ] The port replicator is fully engaged when the release levers on both sides of the port replicator has clipped onto the matching holes on the sides of the computer.
