Reconfiguring the System
You must enter Setup after installing or removing SIMMs to reconfigure the system. Follow these steps to reconfigure the system: 1. A memory error message appears, indicating that the total memory does not match the value stored in CMOS. Since external speakers, microphone, and other audio devices give better sound quality, the external audio ports take higher priority than the internal connectors. When you attach external audio devices to the ports, the internal audio devices are automatically disabled.
