AcoustiPackTM Deluxe (v2) contains 6 pieces,  of 2 different materials: Acoustic Foam (3 pieces) pre-cut rectangular blocks (without self-adhesive backing) for vacant drive bays.  [. . . ] It is best to avoid the foam coming into direct contact with printed circuitry. Be careful not to cause the overheating of any adjacent drives or components. If in doubt - use the thinner acoustic composite sheets in the pack and leave an air gap around adjacent components. Acoustic Composite Sheets It is best to arrange the acoustic composite sheets so that the foam side is exposed to sources of noise. Avoid adhering the materials to printed circuitry or internal components. The thinner composite sheets can typically be located on case sides,  roof and floor. The thicker composite sheet (featuring the AcoustiContourTM surface) may perhaps be most effectively located opposite the loudest sources of noise,  such as adjacent to the CPU and graphics card cooling fans. This sheet could,  for example,  be located on the inside of the opening case side panel where there is usually enough room for thicker materials and adequate ventilation for nearby components.
