Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

User's Manual
Security Manager 2000
N75276V2 4/99
Ref. S1632
IMPORTANT!
PROPER INTRUSION PROTECTION For proper intrusion coverage, sensors should be located at every possible point of entry to a home or commercial premises. This would include any skylights that may be present, and the upper windows in a multi-level building. In addition, we recommend that radio backup be used in a security system so that alarm signals can still be sent to an alarm monitoring station in the event that the telephone lines are out of order (alarm signals are normally sent over the phone lines).
About This Manual
This manual is a step-by-step guide that will acquaint you with the system's features and benefits. [. . . ] The babysitter code is assigned to user 15. The user of this code should not use the Quick Arming feature described below. Duress Code This feature is intended for use when you are forced to disarm or arm the system under threat. When used, the system will act normally, but can silently notify the Customer Care Center of your situation, if that service has been provided. Important: This code is useful only when the system is connected to the Customer Care Center. Note that if "Quick Arming" was programmed by the installer, the # key can be pressed in place of the security code when arming the system. If so programmed, the A and B keys on a touchpad can be used for single-button arming AWAY or STAY, respectively. See ARMING ALL PROTECTION and ARMING PERIMETER ONLY sections. The security code must always be used to disarm the system, however. 25
