The figures corresponding to the selected delay will be displayed for about 2 seconds, after which the duration of the selected programme will appear on the display. When the START/PAUSE button is pressed, the selected delay will again appear on the display and the machine starts its countdown. Selection of the STAIN, PREWASH or QUICK FLECKEN KURZ VORWÄSCHE WASH option, depending on the degree of soil of the laundry and on the type of fabric. The corresponding light comes on. Starting the programme To start the selected programme, press the START/PAUSE button; the corresponding light stops flashing. The pilot light corresponding to the wash phase which is running is on. After about 30 seconds the programme starts. SPÜLSTOP SPÜLEN+ START PAUSE Selection of the EXTRA RINSE and/or RINSE HOLD option The corresponding light(s) come on. 26 27 How to wash At the end of the programme The machine stops automatically and three flashing zeros are displayed. The END and spin speed pilot lights, as well as the pilot light(s) corresponding to the selected option(s), stay on. If the RINSE HOLD (SPÜLSTOP) option has been selected, the corresponding pilot light on the programme progress display flashes to indicate that the water must be emptied out before opening the door. The pilot light of the START button flashes and tree flashing zeros are displayed. Release of the lock is indicated by an audible signal. Turn the programme selector dial to RESET (KORREKTUR). Switch the machine off by pressing the ON/OFF button. Check that the drum is empty so as to avoid a subsequent wash being damaged by any forgotten items. Leave the door open to prevent the formation of mildew and unpleasant smells. How to dry Drying only Warning!Do not exceed the maximum laundry loads: - 2. 5 kg for linen and cottons - 1. 5 kg for synthetics. The water tap must be open and the drain hose must be positioned in the sink or connected to the drain pipe. Depress the ON/OFF button to switch the machine on. Select the drying programme TROCKNEN (for cotton or synthetics). Depress the DRYING TIME button TROCKENTROCKENZEIT until the time you want appears in the ZEIT display. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the programme. At the end of the cycle, turn the programme selector dial to RESET (KORREKTUR) and press the ON/OFF button again to switch the appliance off. Remove the laundry. Automatic washing and drying (NON-STOP programme) 28 Warning! [. . . ] The end of the drain hose must always be ventilated, i. e. the inside diameter of the drain pipe must be larger than the outside diameter of the drain hose.
