It is perfectly normal for the temperature alarm light to remain flashed for a short time after the freezer is initially turned on. It will remain flashed until the optimum temperature for the conservation of frozen food is attained. In order to freeze the quantity indicated on the rating plate, arrange the food directly in contact with the cooling surfaces. If the food is frozen in the baskets, the maximum quantity freezable is slightly less. electrolux 11 Storage of frozen food When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least two hours on the coldest setting, then turn the thermostat knob to the normal operating position. To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should: if large quantities of food are to be stored, remove all drawers and baskets from appliance (except for the last one at the bottom) and place food on cooling shelves.
