This is a characteristic of all ceramic glass cooking zones and does not impair either the function or the life of the appliance. Switching On the Triple Ring Cooking Zone Depending on the size of the pan, on the triple ring zone the two larger rings can be switched on, in addition to the smallest cooking zone, using the appropriate touch switch on the glass ceramic cooking surface. Switch on cooking zone in the normal way using the ring switch. ­ The smallest ring on the cooking zone is switched on. Tap the corresponding touch switch on the cooking surface once. ­ The larger ring is also switched on. To switch on the largest ring, tap the touch switch again. To switch off the larger ring, tap the touch switch again. If the triple ring cooking zone is switched off completely using the ring switch, the larger rings must be switched on again the next time the ring is switched on, if required. 117 Operating Instructions Switching on the Casserole Zone Depending on the size of the pan, on the casserole zone the larger ring can be switched on, in addition to the smaller cooking zone, using the touch switch on the glass ceramic cooking surface.
