Important: Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaners!The surface could be damaged. 7 Operating Instructions Operation of the cooking surface When the cooking zones are switched on, they may hum briefly. This is a characteristic of all ceramic glass cooking zones and does not impair either the function or the life of the appliance. The zones are operated using the knobs on the cooker or with using the knobs on the panel, operation is described in the respective in struction manuals. Switching On the Triple Ring Cooking Zone Depending on the size of the pan, on the triple ring zone the two larger rings can be switched on, in addition to the smallest cooking zone, using the appropriate touch switch on the glass ceramic cooking surface. Switch on cooking zone in the normal way using the ring switch. - The smallest ring on the cooking zone is switched on. Tap the corresponding touch switch on the cooking surface once - The larger ring is also switched on. To switch on the largest ring, tap the touch switch again 4. To switch off the larger ring, tap the touch switch again. If the triple ring cooking zone is switched off completely using the ring switch, the larger rings must be switched on again the next time the ring is switched on, if required. All cleaners must be removed with plenty of clean water after cleaning as they may have a caustic effect when the rings are next heated!Do not use any aggressive cleaners, such as e. g. grill or oven sprays, coarse scouring cleaners or pan cleaners that cause scratches. Clean the ceramic glass surface after each use when it is hand warm or cold. This means you will avoid soiling becoming burnt on. Remove scale and water marks, fat spots and metallic shimmering discolo ration with a commercially available ceramic glass or stainless steel cleaner, e. g. with "Stahl-Fix or Vitroclen. Light Soilage 1. Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid. No residues of cleaner must be left on the surface. Once a week, thoroughly clean the entire ceramic glass surface with a com mercially available ceramic glass cleaner such as Vitroclen. Then wipe the ceramic glass surface with plenty of clean water and rub dry with a clean fluff-free cloth. Stubborn Soilage 1.
