Pan Supports
To keep the pan supports in the correct position, they are mounted on metal pins located in the back of the hob. To ensure a better cleaning, pan supports can be removed from the hob. Lift up the pan suports keeping them in horizontal position as shown in fig. Avoid lifting the pan supports at an angle, as this will put strain on the metal pins. This may damage the pins and cause them to break. After cleaning the hob, ensure the pan supports are properly placed as shown in fig. If washing them by hand, take care when drying them as the enamelling process occasionally leaves rough edges. If necessary, remove stubborn stains using a paste cleaner. Pay attention when placing the pan supports back on their position, in order to avoid scratching the glass hob top.

Periodic maintenance
Periodically ask your local Service Centre to check the conditions of the gas supply pipe and the pressure adjuster, if fitted. To ensure the good operation of the hob and its safety features, it is necessary that the taps are periodically lubricated.

Instruction for the Installer

The following instructions about installation and maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the regulation in force. The regulation to be applied for this type of installation is NBN D 5I. 003 : "Installations functioning with combustible gas lighter than air". The side walls of the unit in which the hob is going to be installed, must not exceed the height of the working top. Avoid installing the appliance in the proximity of inflammable materials (e. g. The appliance must be electrically disconnected before all interventions. If any electric supply to the appliance is required to carry out the work, ensure all the necessary precautions are followed.
