For a correct storage of the food the following temperature should be set: · -18 °C in the freezer. The following DESIRED temperature settings are possible: Operating mode "Freezing": from -15 °C up to -24 °C in 1 °C steps Operation mode "Cooling": from 0 °C up to 16 °C in 1 °C steps; When the setting is changed, the compressor does not start immediately if automatic defrosting is currently taking place. As the storage temperature within the appliance is reached quickly you can store food immediately after switching on. If necessary, switch over the appliance between the operating modes "Freezing" and "Cooling". When the setting is switched from "Freezing" to "Cooling" FC (Freezing - Cooling) appears in the temperature indicator, an acoustic signal confirms the change and the temperature indicator changes to flashing figures (DESIRED temperature cooling mode +5 °C). By selecting the DESIRED temperature in the range of +5 °C, this appliance can be used as a normal refrigerator. By selecting the DESIRED Temperature up to +16 °C, the appliance can perfectly be used as a cooling unit for drinks. The FROSTMATIC function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming. The FROSTMATIC function stops automatically after about 52 hours.
