[. . . ] The temperature display shows the current oven temperature. 8 Daily use Switching the oven off Turn the oven functions selector to the OFF position. Cooling fan When the appliance operates, the cooling fan switches on automatically. If you switch off the appliance, the cooling fan continues to operate until the appliance cools down. Heat- up indicator If you switch on an oven function, the bars on the display come on one by one. The bars show that the oven temperature increases. Residual heat indicator When you switch off the oven, the bars on the display show the residual heat. Rapid heat up With the additional function Rapid heat up you decrease the pre-heating time. Do not put the food into the oven, until Rapid heat up is completed and the oven operates in the desired function. When the bars flash one by one, it shows that Rapid heat up operates. When Rapid heat up is completed: ­ the bars of the heat indicator come up, ­ the bars next to the symbol go out, ­ an acoustic signal sounds. The oven now continues to heat according to the pre-set oven function and temperature. You can switch on the Rapid heat up function with the oven functions: True fan baking , Conventional and Rotitherm . , Fan Oven Functions The oven has these functions: Daily use Oven function TRUE FAN Application 9 To bake on maximum three oven levels at the same time. Decrease the oven temperatures (20-40°C) compared with Conventional. To bake on one oven level food with a more intensive browning and a crispy base. · Baking time can be extended by 10-15 minutes, if you bake cakes on more than one level. · Cakes and pastries at different heights do not always brown equally at first. If this occurs, do not change the temperature setting. The differences equalize during the baking procedure.
