INSTALLATION POSITION Place the appliance horizontally on a firm surface, resting on all four wheels. The room should be dry and adequately ventilated. If the room temperature exceeds 43°C, or falls below 18°C, the appliance will not function as it should. Do not place the appliance close to sources of heat, radiators, chimneys, etc. , and do not place the appliance in direct sunlight. If the appliance has been handled standing on end it should be allowed to stand in normal position for about 12 hours before switching it on. Please ensure that when the appliance is installed it is easily accessible for the engineer in the event of a breakdown. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate, located on the backside of the appliance. WARNING: This appliance must be earthed. SWITCHING ON Before switching on, the appliance should be cleaned inside. See under Maintenance. FITTING WHEELS The wheels are fitted as shown in the drawing, using the enclosed fitting key. 4 INSTALLATION If the appliance is equipped with wheels with brake, you can brake the appliance by pushing the brake down and you can loosen it by pushing it up as shown in the figure. To ensure the stabilization of the appliance you have to brake two wheels at the same time. FITTING BOTTLE OPENER (not a standard accessory for all models) The bottle opener has to be placed to the frontside of the appliance to the right. It can be fitted by means of the enclosed screws (4 pieces to the right- and 2 pieces to the frontside of the appliance) as shown in the following figure. 5 HOW TO USE TEMPERATURE CONTROL The thermostat ensures that the required temperature is maintained in the appliance. Adjust the temperature by turning the button with a coin that fits the groove. Turning the thermostat button towards no. 7 makes the temperature in the appliance colder, and turning the button towards no. The correct setting can be found by measuring the temperature of the top package in the middle of the appliance. [. . . ] Leave the lid slightly open. After removing the drip water, clean the inside of the appliance. IMPORTANT Remember to replace the plug in the drip water drain. HOW TO CLEAN YOUR APPLIANCE INSIDE Remove the plug from the mains socket, and remove all loose accessories before cleaning the appliance. [. . . ]
