Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] It is designed for free-standing installation but can be built in If the following instructions are observed. In order to ensure perfect operation and maximum cooling efficiency of the appliance, the following conditions must be strictly complied with: 1) sufficient supply of fresh air from below; 2) good heat dissipation above the cooling unit, free from obstruction; 3) stable, level position of the refrigerator. If the appliance is to be built in, please ensure that it can be removed if necessary without damaging the surrounding fitments. The refrigerator must be positioned far enough into the fitment for the entire unit to project into the air duct. [. . . ] To speed up the making of ice cubes, turn the thermostat to position 5 for a short while. Remember to turn the dial to its normal setting when the ice cubes are frozen. To remove the cubes from the ice tray, hold it under running water. Remove the lid with the ice cubes from the ice tray and the ice cubes can now be taken out easily. CARE AND MAINTENANCE DEFROSTING Frost will gradually form on the cooling surfaces and it must not be allowed to become too thick since it impairs the cooling efficiency of the refrigerator. Check the formation of frost regularly and defrost the refrigerator if the layer of frost is thicker than 6 mm. The applicance are fitted either with a semi or fully automatic defrosting system. SEMI-AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING Press the defrosting button in the centre of the thermostat dial with a toothpick. On no account alter the position of the thermostat but leave it at its usual setting and close the door. When the defrosting process is complete the defrosting button is released automatically and the refrigerator will return to normal operation. Defrosting time is dependent on the thickness of the frost layer and the room temperature. AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING The appliance defrosts automatically on a regular basis and then switches itself on again. The defrosting process is carried out by a timer switch operating on a 24-hour cycle. This timer is preset and needs no adjustments. 12 DEFROST WATER During the defrosting process the water rums through a hose into a container on the back of the refrigerator where it evaporates. This container does not need to be emptied. CLEANING Cleand the inside of your refrigerator regularly to keep it fresh and hygienic. Switch off the appliance and pull out the plug. Clean the interior and fittings carefully with a mild detergent in lukewarm water. Never use acidic, abrasive or strong-smelling detergents or wax polishes as these will damage the surfaces and leave an unpleasant smell. The outside should occasionally be dusted or wiped over with a damp cloth. The door seal should only be cleaned with water and rubbed down with talcum powder from time to time. [. . . ] Is the thermostat at the correct setting?Has the door not been closed properly causing the inside temperature to rise too quickly?Has the ventilation become obstructed? 14 If after checking all the above points, the refrigerator is still not working satisfactorily, contact your nearest service engineer. State the problem, model, product- and serialnumber. [. . . ]
