Make sure that the airflow is sufficient. AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF If one of the cooking zones is switched on without an appropriate pan on the correspondent area the cooking surface automatically switches itself off after a couple of minutes. If one of the cooking zones is not switched off after a certain time, or if the heat setting is not modified, the relevant cooking zone switches off automatically. Before being used again, the control knob must be set to the off position.
