ATTENTION!Before commissioning, ensure that the burner caps are straight on the burner bodies. If the burner caps are not on straight, the gas flame will not burn evenly and this can cause damage to the burner.
Important The apertures for the gas flames on the burner crown must not be blocked by foods that have boiled over or by cleaning products.

Switching the appliance on and off
1. Turn the ring switch to the left to maximum power .
2. Press the ring switch in firmly, until the gas has ignited. After a successful ignition hold the ring switch depressed for about 5 seconds. If the flames should go out, repeat the ignition process.
3. The power can be set progressively from maximum power to minimum power .
4. To end the cooking process, turn back to the Off position.

In the event of a power cut or also when the spark plug is wet (because of food boiling over or cleaning) the rings can also be ignited using a gas lighter or a match.
