Follow the instructions given in the cook books, freezing books and wrapping utensiles for better conservation of food. 7 Maintenance of your Refrigerator-Freezer Prior to undertaking any maintenance operation, be sure to unplug the appliance. Defrosting of the freezer The inner walls of the freezer become gradually covered with a layer of frost keeping in mind not to open the door frequently and keeping the food wrapped up in closed bags.
