Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. This appliance should be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts should be used. It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify this appliance in any way. Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable. [. . . ] 1) Before fitting the appliance in the kitchen furniture and connecting it to the power supply, if necessary, change the door opening side (from right to left). Place the appliance on its back, putting packing material between it and the floor to avoid damaging the appliance cooling pipes. Assemble the spacers and the bolts on the opposite side. Fig. 1 Location In order to ensure best results, place the appliance as far away as possible from sources of heat, e. g. radiators, heaters, direct sunlight, etc. Always choose a properly ventilated room; make sure ventilation is ensured especially behind and above the appliance. Power connection Before plugging in the appliance to the mains socket, check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the appliance rating plate are the same as those provided by your home power supply. A 6% fluctuation above or below rated voltage is acceptable. The appliance MUST be connected to an efficient earth or ground tap. In fact the supply-lead plug incorporates a special earth or ground contact for this purpose. If by any chance the sockets of your domestic wiring system are not earthed, the appliance must be connected to a separate earth or ground wire by a qualified electrician, in accordance with existing safety regulations. The manufacturer declines to accept any liability if this accident-prevention procedure is not followed. 8) When changing the hinges of the refrigerator door from right to left, it is also advisable to change the opening side of the freezer door. Remove the freezer door and take off the upper hinge. Unscrew the catch and fix it on the opposite side. Mount the freezer door on the left side and fix the lower hinge. Fig. 8 8mm D415 180° 15 USE Operation - Temperature regulation Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise until reaching the desired position (beyond the «O» = stop position); the best position is between 3 and 4. The temperature is automatically regulated and can be increased to achieve a higher temperature (less cold) by rotating the thermostat toward lower settings or diminished (more cold) rotating the knob towards higher settings. However, the exact setting should be chosen keeping in mind that the temperature inside the refrigerator depends on: room temperature; how often the door is opened; the quantity of food stored; location of appliance. To stop operation, simply turn the thermostat knob to position «O». When the refrigerator is set for the coldest temperatures, with a high surrounding room temperature, it will probably be in constant operation, with consequent frosting of the back wall of the compartment. If this does occur, the knob should be set to obtain a slightly higher temperature. In this way the refrigerator automatically defrosts, with a considerable energy saving. [. . . ] Place the frozen food in the appliance again. Refrigerator defrosting Refrigerator defrosting is completely automatic. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container provided on top of the compressor which is located at the back of the appliance, where it evaporates. Important We particularly recommend the periodic cleaning of the defrost water drain. Use the special cleaner provided already inserted into the discharge hole (Fig. [. . . ]
