[. . . ] When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor. The fridge evaporator (this part cool down the fridge section) is foamed into the cabinet. This part changing during its work, and parallel with this its dimensions are slightly changing, too. Should you want to check the temperature of food stored in the refrigerator, set the thermostat knob into a medium position, place a glass of water centrally in the cabinet, and put a proper thermometer with an accuracy of +/- 1°C into it. Should the light fail to work you can change it as below: Break the circuit of the appliance. Unscrew the screw holding the cover (1), press the rear hook (2) and at the same time slide the cover in the direction indicated by arrow (3). (Bulb type: 230-240 V, 15 W, E 14 thread) After changing the bulb replace the cover, snap it in place, screw back the screw and apply voltage to the appliance. When the refrigerator is not in use In case the appliance will not be used for a long time follow these steps: Break the circuit of the appliance. Leave the door open to avoid a build up of air inside.
