Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, always ensure that the book is left with the appliance in order that the new owner can get to know the functioning of the appliance and the relevant safety information. This information has been provided in the interest of your safety. You MUST read it carefully before installing or using the appliance. Installation q q q q q q Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. [. . . ] Check that the baskets have been loaded correctly and that the spray arms can rotate freely 2. Setting and starting the programme Turn the programme selector dial until the marker on the dial corresponds with the desired programme (see "Washing programmes" chart). The indicator lights of the phases foreseen for the programme start flashing. Press the start/cancel button, the programme starts automatically and the start/cancel indicator light illuminates. The indicator light of the phase in progress is illuminated. NOTE: during the running of the programme, it is not possible to change the selection made by positioning the programme selector dial in correspondence of another programme. If you want to change the running washing programme you must cancel the selection made (see "To cancel a washing programme in progress"). 5. To interrupt or cancel a washing programme in progress Interrupt or cancel a washing programme in progress ONLY if it's absolutely necessary. Hot steam may escape when the door is opened. Open the door carefully. Interrupt a washing programme in progress Open the dishwasher door; the programme will stop. Close the door; the programme will start from the point at which it was interrupted. Cancel a washing programme in progress Press the start/cancel button for about 5 seconds. The start/cancel indicator light turns off and the phase indicator lights are flashing. The running programme has been cancelled and it is now possible to set a new washing programme. If a new washing programme is to be selected, check that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser. 6. End of the washing programme The dishwasher will stop automatically. The illumination of the End indicator light indicates that the programme has ended. Switch off the dishwasher by returning the programme selector dial to the Off position. Open the dishwasher's door, leave it ajar and wait a few minutes before removing the dishes; in this way they will be cooler and the drying will be improved. Set the "delay start" of a programme: Once the washing programme has been set, press the "delay start" button. The corresponding indicator light illuminates. Press the start/cancel button, the countdown of the delay start begins automatically. The indicator lights of the phases turn off. The opening of the door will not modify or interrupt the countdown. [. . . ] This warranty, the contract to which it relates and the relationship between you and Electrolux are governed by the law applicable in the Australian State where the Appliance was purchased or the law applicable in New Zealand if the Appliance was purchased in New Zealand. Where the Appliance was purchased in New Zealand for business purposes the Consumer Guarantee Act does not apply. General Terms and Conditions 1. In this warranty (a) "Electrolux" means Electrolux Home Products Pty Ltd ABN 51 004 762 341 in respect of Appliances purchased in Australia and Electrolux (NZ) Limited in respect of Appliances purchased in New Zealand; (b) "Appliance" means any Electrolux product purchased by you accompanied by this document; (c) "Warranty Period" means (i) where you use the Appliance for personal, domestic or household purposes in Australia the period of 24 months and in New Zealand the period of 24 months; (ii)where you use the Appliance for commercial purposes, in Australia the period of 0 months and in New Zealand the period of 0 months, (if the period stated is 0 months you are not covered by this product warranty) following the date of original purchase of the Appliance; (d) "you" means the purchaser of the Appliance not having purchased the appliance for re-sale, and "your" has a corresponding meaning.
