To carry out complete defrosting proceed as follows: 1. Remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place. Turn the thermostat control to the «O» setting. Leave the door open and insert the plastic scraper in the special location to act as an extension channel; pull out the drawer to collect the defrost water (see Fig. ). When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly. - Check there is not a power cut by checking the household lights. - Check the fuse has not blown. The temperature in the freezer is too high - Check the thermostat control knob is turned to the correct setting relative to ambient conditions. - Check the ambient temperature is within the appliances operating limits of 10°C to 32°C. [. . . ] Unscrew the foot at the base (6) of the appliance and refit it on the opposite side. Refit the door and the bottom hinge to the left hand side. Remove the door handle (3) and fit it on the opposite side. Cover the holes left open with the plugs already provided. [. . . ]
