They contain important information for safe use, for installation and for care of the appliance. Please keep these operating instructions for future reference. D567 Reversing the door The side the door opens can be changed from the right side (factory adjustment) to the left side, if the installation site requires. When changing the side the door opens, the appliance must not be connected to the mains. Remove plug from the mains beforehand. Warning! · Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e. g. ­ lemon juice or the juice from orange peel, ­ butyric acid; ­ cleansers which contain acetic acid. 16 9 Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts. · Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liqiud added. Remove frozen food and the food from the refrigerator. Wrap frozen food in several layers of newspaper. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off. Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with lukewarm water and with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5ml to 0, 5 litre of water).
