P0039 P0040 Warning When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme selected there can be hot water in the filter. Never remove the filter during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty. When replacing the filter, ensure it is securely retightened so as to stop leaks and young children being able to remove it. The water inlet filters If your water is very hard or contains traces of lime deposit, the water inlet filters may become clogged. It is therefore a good idea to clean them from time to time. Clean the filters using a hard bristle brush. Tighten up the inlet hoses. P1090 17 Something Not Working Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer. Before contacting your local Service Force Centre, please carry out the checks listed below. IMPORTANT: if you call out an engineer to a fault listed below, or to repair a fault caused by incorrect use or installation, a charge will be made even if the appliance is under guarantee. The drain hose may be squashed or kinked. The RINSE HOLD option has been selected. The drain hose extension is not correct. Follow the instructions for connecting to the waste. The wash load is unbalanced: redistribute the clothes inside the drum to allow the machine to spin.
