4 Spin speed reduction button
When this button is pressed, the spin speed is reduced from 1200 to 650 rpm with programmes 1-2-3 and 4 and from 650 to 450 rpm with programmes 12 and 14. We recommend that this button should not be used when running the automatic washing/drying cycle, in order to avoid lengthy drying times.

5 Door open button
Press to open the door.
2 Drying time selector
Graduated up to 100 minutes for both cottons and synthetics, allows drying time to be selected according to the type and amount of laundry and the required degree of dryness: - red sector: for drying cottons - blue sector: for drying synthetics. The pilot light above the knob illuminates when drying starts. Cooling phase To allow the laundry to cool down, a cooling phase starts automatically 8 minutes before the end of drying and this phase must in no circumstances be reduced or interrupted.
6 "Door locked" pilot light
This light comes on when the programme starts, indicating that the door is locked. The door cannot be opened until the light goes out.
7 Temperature selector knob
Turn this knob to select the washing temperature. Position : cold wash.
8 Programme selector knob
To select the required programme, turn this knob clockwise until the programme number is exactly opposite the pointer: - red sector for cotton and linen - blue sector for synthetics, delicate fabrics, woollens - grey sector for extra prewash
3 Start/Stop button
Press this button to start the machine, press again to interrupt a programme or switch off the power supply to the machine.
9 Operating pilot light
This light is on whilst the machine is operating and goes out when the start/stop button is pressed again.

Automatic washing and drying (NON-STOP programme) Automatic washing and drying is only possible with linen, cotton and synthetics programmes. The maximum load size is 2. 5 kg for cotton and 2 kg for synthetics. Press the start/stop button .
Place the detergent and additives in the dispenser drawer. Select the temperature and the wash programme. Press the start/stop button .

The laundry will be washed and dried without any further action by you.
Select the drying time. Pour liquid detergent into the dispenser drawer compartment marked just before starting the programme. Any fabric softener or starching additives must be poured into the compartment marked before starting the wash programme. Follow the product manufacturer's recommendations on quantities to use. Quantity of detergent to be used The type and quantity of detergent will depend on the type of fabric, load size, degree of soiling and hardness of the water used. Water hardness is classified in so-called "degrees" of hardness. Information on hardness of the water in your area can be obtained from the relevant water supply company, or from your local authority. Follow the product manufacturers' instructions on quantities to use. Use less detergent if: you are washing a small load the laundry is lightly soiled large amounts of foam form during washing.

Hints on how to save energy and protect the environment
By following these hints, you will obtain economical washing without damaging the environment: whenever possible, wash the maximum load for the selected programme, measure out detergent according to the water hardness, degree of soiling and quantity of laundry being washed, use the prewash programme only for very heavily soiled laundry. This new washing machine, which is fitted with the Jet System, meets all modern needs for effective treatment of laundry with low water, energy and detergent consumption.
Drying

All laundry to be dried must be thoroughly spun. The higher the spin speed, the lower the power consumption and the shorter the drying time. Scrupulously follow the instructions on each garment label, making sure that it is suitable for tumble-drying. [. . . ] To remove the drawer from the machine, press the button in the rear left-hand corner. To facilitate cleaning, the top part of the additive compartments can be removed.
