When you set the multitab function, it stays on until you deactivate it. The multitab function stops automatically the flow of rinse aid and salt. The rinse aid indicator light and salt indicator light are deactivated. The programme duration can increase if you use the multitab function. Activate or deactivate the multitab function before the start of a washing programme. You cannot activate or deactivate the multitab function when the programme operates. Cancel the washing programme, then set the programme again. 16 Washing programmes To activate the multitab function: · Press the multitab button. To deactivate the multitab function: · Press the multitab button. Do these steps if the drying results are not satisfactory: 1. Fill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid. The washing programme only starts after you close the door. Until then it is possible to modify the settings. Do these steps to set and start a washing programme: 1. Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode. Refer to the chapter 'Washing programmes'. ­ The related programme indicator light comes on. ­ All other programme indicator lights go off. ­ The digital display shows in flashing the programme duration. If necessary, set the Night Cycle programme. Press the Night Cycle button, the related indicator light comes on. The washing programme starts automatically. [. . . ] This prevents that the waste water from the sink goes back into the appliance. Connect the water drain hose to a stand pipe with vent-hole (minimum internal diameter 4 cm). The waste connection must be at a maximum height of 60 cm from the bottom of the dishwasher. Make sure that the drain hose is not bent or squashed to prevent that the water drains does not drain correctly. [. . . ]
