[. . . ] If the dishwasher is built in at high level with flush fitting cupboard doors, the light signal cannot be seen. The dot shaped light signal is not dangerous. (It is not a laser. ) It lights up while a dishwasher cycle is running and goes out when the cycle ends. In the text display you will see the name of the current stage of the cycle. Beside this you will see the predicted time remaining in minutes. The OPTION button allows you to briefly view the name of the rinsing cycle in the display. A rinsing cycle can only be started from the cycle menu. During the rinsing cycle, the remaining time shown on the display is adjusted according to the size of the load, degree of soiling, etc. You cannot make changes to the options or settings while a rinsing cycle is in progress. 3 3 3 3 Interrupting or aborting a dishwashing cycle Only interrupt a dishwashing cycle that is in progress if it is absolutely necessary. 1 Interrupting the dishwashing programme by opening the dishwasher door Hot steam may escape when the door is opened. The dishwashing cycle will stop, in the display: PLEASE CLOSE DOOR 2. 30 3 Aborting the rinsing cycle 1. If you want to start a new cycle, check whether there is any detergent in the dispenser. Turning off the dishwasher will only interrupt a selected dishwashing cycle, not cancel it. The cycle will recommence after turning the dishwasher back on again. Setting the delay start 3 With the delay start you can delay the start of a dishwashing cycle for between 1 and 19 hours. First of all set the delay start and then the desired dishwashing cycle. Go to the DELAY START option; see section "Adapting an option/setting". Set the period by which you wish to delay the start in hours. Press the OPTION button, to change to the Programmes menu. First of all the pre-set time delay until the start runs down. In the display you see the time remaining until the start of the dishwashing cycle. After the time delay until the start has elapsed, the dishwashing cycle starts automatically, the symbol goes out. Cancel delay start: You can cancel a time-delay in progress at any time.
