If possible, do not select a spin speed lower than that proposed by the appliance to avoid a too long drying time so saving energy. When automatically washing and drying it is not possible to select a spin speed lower than 900 r. p. m. Select the drying time or degree of drying. Start the programme by depressing the START/PAUSE button. At the end of the programme, turn the selector dial to O. Remove the laundry. How to dry Drying only Max. load - cottons 3 kg - synthetics 2 kg During the drying programme the water tap must be open and the drain hose must be correctly positioned. Turn the programme selector dial to DRYING for cottons or easy cares. If you wish to carry out the timed drying press the relevant button until the time you want appears in the display. If you wish to carry out the electronic drying depress the relevant button until the light corresponding to the degree of dryness required (store dry or iron dry) illuminates. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the programme. [. . . ] Make sure that it is designed in such a way that the end of the drain hose cannot be covered with water. If you intend the drain hose from the machine to empty into a sink, make sure that the sink is empty and the plug hole is not blocked. Use the plastic "U -Piece" supplied. Important Before connecting up the machine to new pipework or to pipework that has not been used for some time, run off a reasonable amount of water to flush out any debris that may have collected in the pipes. In the interest of the environment Washing machines and dishwashers should be connected to the FOUL drainage system, the water will then be taken to a sewage works for treatment before being discharged safely into a river.
