[. . . ] When one of these options is not compatible with the chosen programme, the corresponding light will flash for a few seconds (see programme table). * depending on model 10 User information - «Prewash» pushbutton The washing machine does a prewash at 30°C maximum. The prewash finishes with a brief spinning for cotton and synthetic programmes, and by a draining for delicates programmes. - «Stain» pushbutton This option reinforces the washing action. You can add stain removal salts into the prewash compartment in your washing machine. This option in not available with the wool and handwash programmes and with PREWASH* and SOAKING* pushbuttons. - «Quick wash» pushbutton If you select this function, the wash time is reduced depending on which programme you chose. Starting the programme After you chose the washing programme, press the Start/Pause pushbutton to start the cycle. It is normal that the programme selector does not turn during the cycle. Programme progress display When you select a programme, the leds corresponding to the different step during the programme light on. When the programme starts, only the concerned led of the programme cycle stays lighted on. 11 User information - RINSE PLUS The washing machine is set for very economical water consumption. However, people who suffer from allergies to detergents can rinse their laundry with more water. If the RINSE PLUS option is selected, two extra rinses are added to the COTTONS/LINEN, SYNTHETICS, EASY IRON, and DELICATES programmes. When delivered, the washing machine is not set for additional rinses. Turn the programme selector to a COTTONS/LINEN, SYNTHETICS, EASY IRON, or DELICATES programme (with any temperature). Press and hold the pushbutton 1 and the pushbutton 3 at the same time for at least 2 seconds. Preferably wash new clothes separately for the first time. Respect "wash separately" and "wash several times separately" care instructions. · Empty pockets and spread out the washing. · Take off all loose buttons, pins and hooks and eyes. Close zip fasteners, tie knots in laces and straps. · Turn clothes made of several layers of textiles (sleeping bags, anoraks, etc. ), colored hosiery and wool and textiles with add-on decorations, inside out. · Wash small delicate items (socks, tights, bras, etc) in a washing net. · Treat curtains with special care. Remove curtain hooks and put net curtains in a net bag or a sachet. Washing load depending on the nature of the material The quantity of washing that you put in your drum must not exceed the maximum capacity of your washing machine. This capacity may vary depending on the nature of your textiles. Reduce the quantity of washing if it is very dirty or if you have terry cloth type materials. [. . . ] The washing machine must be unplugged while packing is being removed. · Do not allow any one other than a qualified plumber to make the hydraulic connections necessary to install your washing machine. · The washing machine must be plugged in to a power outlet with a conform earth. · Call a qualified electrician if the electrical installation in your residence is such that you have to modify it before you can connect your washing machine.
