[. . . ] It is normal that the program selector does not turn during the cycle. Programme progress display When you select a programme, the leds corresponding to the different step during the programme light on. When the programme starts, only the concerned led of the programme cycle stays lighted on. - RINSE PLUS The washing machine is set for very economical water consumption. However, people who suffer from allergies to detergents can rinse their laundry with more water. If the RINSE PLUS option is selected, two extra rinses are added to the COTTONS/LINEN, SYNTHETICS, EASY IRON, and DELICATES programmes. When delivered, the washing machine is not set for additional rinses. 11 User information To set the additional rinse cycles : 1. You will hear a double "click" in the locking device when the cover opens. If you choose the rinse hold position, the rinse hold light* illuminates to inform you that water has to be drained before you can open the cover. To terminate the cycle, you can then spin the washing by choosing the spin program or drain it by choosing the drain program. Turn the program selector knob to the "Off" position. Pull out the power supply plug and close the water supply tap. Values given in the above table are provided as a guide and may vary depending on the water supply temperature and pressure, and your electricity power supply mains voltage. 16 User information Washing guide Sorting and preparing your washing · Sort the washing by type and care symbol (see chapter International symbols for care of textiles): normal wash for strong washing that can resist energetic wash and spin; delicate wash for delicate washing that should be treated more carefully. For mixed loads composed of articles of different types of fibers, choose a program and temperature suitable for the most fragile fiber. · Wash white washing and color washing separately. Otherwise, the white washing may be colored or look gray. · New clothes very often have too much color. Preferably wash new clothes separately for the first time. Remove all packing from the washing machine. Tilt the washing machine sideways and then remove the packing under the motor, and straighten the washing machine. Tilt the washing machine back-wards, rotate it by a quarter of a turn on one of its corner to remove the transport base.
