The EASY-CARES button can only be used with the COTTONS/LINEN and SOAKING programs. If used with any other program it will have no effect.
For PRE WASH/SOAKING: 0 If separate soaking is desired, press the SOAKING button.

Run wash cycle
Start the washing program, set the final spin speed or select RINSE HOLD
0 Check the water tap is opened. 0 To start the washing machine, pull out the program selector. The indicator ON light is illuminated, washing program starts automatically after six seconds. 0 Reduce the spin speed for the final spin or select RINSE HOLD if required: Press the button final spin speed or press the RINSE HOLD button. If RINSE HOLD is selected, the washing is not rinsed in the last rinsing water, it will not be spun.
During the washing program
you can at any time alter the setting of the final spin speed, select RINSE HOLD, alter the temperature setting; press the EASY-CARES button Other settings cannot be altered. To interrupt the washing program prematurely: 0 Push in program selector. 0 Rotate the program selector clockwise to PUMP OUT. [. . . ] Depending on the amount of water, it may be necessary to empty the container catching the water several times. To do this, temporarily close the emergency emptying hose again with the plug.
