Selecting the washing program
See "Program tables" for suitable program, correct temperature and any possible program options for the respective type of washing. 0 Set washing program and temperature: set program selector to the washing program desired with the required temperature. The estimated duration of the program set is shown in minutes on the multidisplay.

0 If applicable select program options: · The displays of the program options selected light up. · To change your selection press another button. · To deselect simply press the button again.
0 If required reduce the spin speed for the final spin/ rinse hold: Press the final spin speed/RINSE HOLD button repeatedly until the display of the required spin speed or RINSE HOLD illuminates. With RINSE HOLD the washing stays in the final rinse water, it is not spun.
0 If applicable set the delay timer: press the DELAY TIMER button repeatedly until the time delay required is displayed, for example 12h for a 12 hour delay start of the program.

If 19h is displayed and you press the button again the running time of the currently set washing program appears and the delay start is cancelled. If the SOAKING option is selected the delay timer determines the soaking time. (Without delay timer the soaking time is approx. 1 hour. ) 23

0 Sort the washing according to the type and prepare it correctly. For information about the correct preparation of the washing see "Types of washing and care symbols". 0 Open the door: pull the handle of the door. 0 Load the washing.

Adding detergent/fabric softener
0 Open the detergent drawer: reach into the recess under the drawer, pull the drawer out as far as it will go. 0 Add detergent/conditioner.

0 Check the water tap is open. 0 Start the washing program: Press START/PAUSE button. The washing program will start, or starts after the delay time set has expired.
