Please make sure you read the safety instructions on the first pages of these operating instructions!Keep the operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to any future owners. 1 With the warning triangle and/or by means of key words (Danger!, Caution!, Attention!), information is emphasized which is important for your safety or the correct functioning of the appliance. [. . . ] · Turn clothing consisting of double-layer fabric inside out (such as cotton-lined anoraks with the cotton layer facing outwards). · Loosen the laundry. Open the fill-in door To open the fill-in door: · Press firmly against the door (Press position ). Fill-in the laundry 1 Caution!Do not clamp any pieces of laundry when closing the door!· Fill the prepared and loosened laundry into the dryer. Set the drying program 0 Select the suitable drying program at the program selector (see "Program tables"). 0 If required, press the W SPECIAL CARE button or P AUDIBLE SIGNAL. 16 Drying · AUDIBLE SIGNAL Button During the crease-protection phase (immediately after the drying process), an acoustic signal is sounded at certain intervals (see "End of drying process"). · SPECIAL CARE button The set program is executed with reduced heating power. Press the SPECIAL CARE button for textiles bearing the care symbol S. Gentle drying is advisable for heatsensitive textiles too (such as acrylate and viscose). Start the drying program 0 Press the X START button. You can recognise the progress of drying on the program run display. 17 Drying Take-out laundry or put-in laundry when necessary You can interrupt the drying process at any time to take out some laundry or to put in more laundry. 0 Open the fill-in door. 1 Caution!0 Press the X START button to resume the drying process. End of the drying process The cooling phase starts shortly before the end of the drying process: The heater is switched-off during this phase. Actual drying also terminates with the cooling phase. After the cooling phase you can take the laundry out of the dryer. The crease guard phase follows automatically after the drying process. This keeps your laundry loose and crease-free. Take out the laundry 0 Open the fill-in door and take out the laundry. Switch-off the dryer 0 Turn the program selector to the Y OFF position. 18 Drying Empty the condensate container 1 Caution!The condensate is not suitable for drinking or for use with foodstuffs. Make it a habit to empty the condensate container after every drying process. This avoids automatic interruption of the drying process when the condensate container is full. 0 Grasp the handle flap of the condensate container and pull-out the latter completely. 0 Push the cover of the condensate container to the side and pour-out the condensed water. 0 Re-insert the condensate container into the operator control mask. Information on illumination of the Z EMPTY WATER display: The Z EMPTY WATER display remains illuminated for a few seconds more after the condensation container is emptied. If the drying cycle has not yet ended: 0 Press the X START button to continue the drying cycle. 3 The condensate container has a capacity of approx. This is sufficient for a laundry fill of 5kg which has been centrifuged at 800 revolutions per minute. 19 Drying Clean the fluff filter To ensure unimpeded air circulation during the drying process, clean the fluff filter after each drying process.
