Please make sure you read the safety instructions on the first pages of these operating instructions!Keep the operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to any future owners. 1 With the warning triangle and/or by means of key words (Danger!, Caution!, Attention!), information is emphasized which is important for your safety or the correct functioning of the appliance. [. . . ] After the set number of hours has elapsed the dryer automatically starts the set drying program. TIME (LAUFZEIT) display field shows the number of hours after which the drying program will start. You can correct the pre-selected start delay time at any time. 19 Drying Start the drying program 0 Press the button START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE). You can check the progress of the drying procedure in the program progress display. Removing laundry or loading laundry when necessary You can interrupt the drying process at any time to remove some of the laundry or to add more laundry. The laundry and the drum may be hot. 0 Remove or add more laundry. 0 Press the START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE) button to resume the drying process. End of the drying process The cooling phase starts shortly before the end of the drying process: The heater is switched-off during this phase. After the cooling phase the END (ENDE) and CREASE GUARD (KNITTERSCHUTZ) display is illuminated. You can now remove the washing from the tumble dryer. The crease guard phase follows automatically after the drying process. For 30 minutes the drum rotates intermittently. This keeps your laundry loose and crease-free. If you have pressed the AUDIBLE SIGNAL (SIGNAL) button, an acoustic signal is sounded intermittently during this phase. You should remove the washing at the latest towards the end of the anti-crease phase to avoid creasing. Removing the laundry 0 Open the door and remove the laundry. 20 Drying Empty the water reservoir 1 Caution!The condensed water is not suitable for drinking or for use with foodstuffs. The water reservoir should be emptied after every drying program. This avoids interruption of a program when the water reservoir is full. 0 Grasp the handle flap of the water reservoir and pull-out completely. 0 Push the cover of the water reservoir to the side and pour-out the condensed water. 0 Re-insert the water reservoir into the control panel. If the drying cycle has not yet ended: 0 Press the START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE) button to resume the drying process. 3 The water reservoir has a capacity of approx. This is sufficient for a laundry load of 5 kg which has been machine spun at 800 revolutions per minute. Cleaning the door seal 0 Rub the door seal with a damp cloth. 21 Drying Clean the fluff filter To ensure efficient operation of the tumble dryer, clean the fluff filter after each drying program. Also check whether there are any remnants or fluff from the washing in the drum; remove immediately. 0 Press the catch of the filter lid downwards. The filter lid will open. 0 Take-out the fluff filter. The plug must be installed in phase in accordance with the rating plate (it is essential that phase L of the socket is contacted with the brown wire of the mains cable). Improper connection can lead to the risk of a fire in the dryer. Special accessories You can obtain the following special accessories from your retailer.
