Please make sure you read the safety instructions on the first pages of these operating instructions!Keep the operating instructions for future reference. Pass them on to any future owners. 1 With the warning triangle and/or by means of key words (Danger!, Caution!, Attention!), information is emphasized which is important for your safety or the correct functioning of the appliance. [. . . ] 0 Hold the DELAY TIMER (ZEITVORWAHL) button depressed until the desired number of hours of delay of the program start appears in the display field for PROG. 0 Press the START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE) button. After elapse of the set number of hours the dryer automatically starts the set drying program. TIME (LAUFZEIT) display field shows the number of hours after which the drying program will start. You can correct the pre-selected start delay time at any time. 19 Drying Start the drying program 0 Press the button START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE). You can check the progress of the drying procedure in the programme progress display. Removing laundry or loading laundry when necessary You can interrupt the drying process at any time to remove some of the laundry or to add more laundry. 0 Press the START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE) button to resume the drying process. End of the drying process The cooling phase starts shortly before the end of the drying process: The heater is switchedoff during this phase. After the cooling phase you can remove the washing from the tumble dryer. The crease guard phase follows automatically after the drying process. For 30 minutes the drum rotates intermittently. This keeps your laundry loose and crease-free. If you have pressed the AUDIBLE SIGNAL (SIGNAL) button, an acoustic signal is sounded intermittently during this phase. Removing the laundry 0 Open the door and remove the laundry. Switch-off the dryer 0 Turn the program selector to the OFF (AUS) position. 20 Drying Empty the water reservoir 1 Caution!The condensed water is not suitable for drinking or for use with foodstuffs. The water reservoir should be emptied after every drying programme. This avoids interruption of a programme when the water reservoir is full. 0 Grasp the handle flap of the water reservoir and pull-out completely. 0 Push the cover of the water reservoir to the side and pour-out the condensed water. 0 Re-insert the water reservoir into the control panel. If the drying cycle has not yet ended: 0 Press the START/PAUSE (START/PAUSE) button to resume the drying process. 3 The water reservoir has a capacity of approx. This is sufficient for a laundry load of 5 kg which has been machine spun at 800 revolutions per minute. 21 Drying Clean the fluff sieve To ensure efficient operation of the tumble dryer, clean the fluff sieve after each drying program. Also check whether there are any remnants or fluff from the washing in the drum; remove immediately. 0 Press the catch of the sieve lid downwards. The sieve lid will open. 0 Take-out the fluff sieve. 0 Remove fluff out of the fluff sieve, with a moistened hand. Drainage kit With this kit (E-No. 916 019 000) you can lead the condensate directly into a drain (sink, siphon, drain grating) with a maximum feed height of 1m above the floor on which the dryer is standing (3m Length).
