[. . . ] The s-bag® full indicator may also signify that the bag is blocked (occasionally caused by very fine dust) which will cause loss of suction and may result in overheating. If this occurs change the bag even if it is not full. 39 The Classic Long Performance s-bag® must be replaced when the indicator light is illuminated. 41 Pull the cardboard to take the s-bag® out the grooves. This automatically seals the dustbag and prevents dust from leaking out of the bag. We recommend the Classic Long Performance s-bag® is changed after using a carpet cleaning powder or if there is a bad smell from the cleaner. To avoid damaging the cleaner, do not use it without a dust bag. A safety device is fitted which prevents the cover closing without a dust bag in place. Never use the cleaner without the filters in place. The filters should be changed/cleaned approximately every fifth dust bag. Lift up the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is securely in place, and close cover. Replace the old filter with a new one ensuring it is securely in place and the cover is properly closed. The HEPA H12 filter should be cleaned (washable HEPA filter only) or replaced when the indicator light is on* or every fifth dust bag*. When the filter indicator (47)* comes on with a red light, the filter should be changed. To check the filter indicator, the cleaner must be switched on and the nozzle lifted from the floor. Press the catch to open the filter cover and remove filter unit. Rinse the inside (dirty side) of the filter unit under warm tap water only. Repeat cleaning procedure four times and allow the filter to air dry.
