[. . . ] The fridge is designed for free-standing installation, but can be built-in if the following conditions are complied with to ensure satisfactory operation and maximum cooling efficiency. IMPORTANT Please follow the installation details below carefully Guarantee is valid for products installed as described only. The refrigerator must be level both directions 2. The ventilation duct must at least measure 105mm x the width of the refrigerator 5. Only the entire cooling unit must project into the duct as shown 6. Ventilation grills, if used, must have openings of at least 200cm2 each During installation, please ensure the mains plug is accessible at all times. 5. Using the appliance To start the refrigerator connect the plug to the socket outlet and switch on the socket. The cooling fins should show signs of cooling after about 3 hours. The refrigerator needs about 6 hours at normal ambient temperature to reach 6 °C in the storage compartment. 5. 1. Temperature regulation The usual setting required is in the region of 4 to 5 on the thermostat knob (Fig. 4), but this can vary with conditions of load and installation. If it is found necessary to alter the setting, the knob can be turned to a higher number to produce a colder temperature, or a lower number to produce a warmer temperature. The effect of any adjustment can be checked by means of the thermometer after leaving the refrigerator operating for a further period to settle down again. Figure 3. Figure 4. 6 6. Changing the feet Should you wish to install your Health Care refrigerator, you will not need the 40-mm feet. After having removed the 40-mm feet, you can then re-attach the 12-mm feet, located inside the 40-mm feet, to the front and rear fixing points. The 40-mm feet and the 4 remaining screws should be retained for future use. 7. 5) Refer to the separate instruction leaflet supplied with the thermometer. The thermometer can be stood up using the attached stand or alternatively it can be fixed to the refrigerator door, in which case the sensor wire should be arranged so that it is not stretched or damaged when the door is opened.
