Do not touch frozen goods with wet hands. Remove frozen goods, pack them in several layers of newspaper, cover them and store them in a cool place, e. g. Switch off the appliance and remove plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or the fuse. Remove the stopper from the bottom of the freezer compartment. Place a bowl on top storage rack of the refrigerator compartment under the outlet to collect the water. Tip: In order to speed up the defrosting process, place a pot of hot water in the freezer compartment. In addition, remove pieces of ice that break away before defrosting is complete.
