Turn the water hardness dial to the position 1 or 2. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode, refer to âSetting and starting a programmeâ. Press and hold, at the same time, and until the indicators ,

Press the on/off button to deactivate the appliance and to confirm the setting. Turn the cap counterclockwise and open the salt container. Put 1 litre of water in the salt container (only for the first time). Fill the salt container with dishwasher salt. If the control panel does not show this condition, press Cancel. Starting a programme without delay start
1. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode. Press one of the programme buttons again and again until only the indicator of the programme you want to set is on. You can also set the applicable options. ¢ The duration of the programme flashes in the display. Close the appliance door, the programme starts. The programme duration starts to decrease with steps of 1 minute. Press Delay again and again until the display shows the delay time you want to set (from 1 to 24 hours). ¢ The delay time flashes in the display.
