[. . . ] Switch on the Appliance (Figure 2) Your coffee machine has an aroma switch. The aroma switch guarantees a full coffee flavour even with smaller quantities of coffee (1-4 cups). ­ 1-4 cups of coffee: press the button (Figure 2/C), appears in the display (Figure 2/F). ­ 5-10 cups of coffee: press the button (Figure 2/C) again, extinguishes in the display (Figure 2/F). Remark: When the appliance is turned off the aroma switch is automatically set to 5-10 cups. The programmed start time remains stored in the appliance and can be checked at any time by pressing the "prog" button (Figure 2/H). Activating the Timer Important: Before you can activate the timer, the start time must be programmed. Once you have pre-programmed the start time, activate the timer function by pressing the "auto" button (Figure 2/D). The yellow indicator (Figure 2/E) illuminates. Once the start time has been selected, it repeats as long as the appliance is in timer mode, that is as long as the yellow indicator is illuminated, every twenty four hours. The data stored in the timer is not erased by a brief power failure. When you want to use the appliance normally again, press the "auto" button again. You can also switch the appliance on directly using the button (Figure 2/A). The yellow indicator extinguishes and the power indicator (Figure 2/B) illuminates. 5. 1. Operation Using the Timer: Pre-Programming the Switch On Time Your coffee machine has a timer on which the time of day can be set, the time when the appliance is to switch on can also be programmed here up to 24 hours in advance. Setting the Time of Day The buttons are protected from accidental adjustment. To adjust the time the buttons much each be pressed for approx. By pressing the "h" (Figure 2/J) and "m" (Figure 2/K) buttons once you can advance the hours and minutes by one hour or one minute respectively. If you keep these buttons pressed down then the numbers in the display will automatically continue to count forwards until the buttons are released. Programming the Start Time First press the "prog" button (Figure 2/H). By pressing the "h" (Figure 2/J) or "m" (Figure 2/K) button immediately afterwards you can set the start time in exactly the same way as you set the time of day in point 1. The display automatically resets from the programmed time to the time of day. 5. 2.
