If the cleaner suddenly turns off, follow this procedure: 1. Check for source of overheating problem (i. e. full bag, clogged hose, clogged tubes or clogged filter). If a full bag, clogged hose, clogged tube or clogged filter is found, replace the bag, unclog the hose or replace the filters. Wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to reuse the cleaner. After 30 minute cool down period, plug the cleaner in and push the rocker switch to the on (I) position.
