Thermal Cut Off
10 14 11 10 This cleaner has a special thermostat that protects the cleaner in case of motor overheating. If the cleaner suddenly turns off, follow this procedure: 1. Check for source of overheating problem (i. e. full dust bag, blocked hose, or clogged filter). If a full dust bag, blocked hose or clogged filter is found, replace dust bag, clear the hose or replace or clean the filters. Wait at least 60 minutes before attempting to reuse the cleaner. After 60 minute cool down period, plug the cleaner in and push the rocker switch to the on (I) position. If the cleaner still does not operate, call Electrolux on 08706 055055 for a Service Centre location close to you.
Helpful Information:
Listen to your cleaner. Turn the cleaner cord unplugged, set the off the switch and unplug the adjustment to lowest setting for cleaner before changing the maximum carpet cleaning. cleaner is difficult to push, move adjustment to next highest setting until cleaner is comfortable to push. The brush roll must reach the carpet for effective cleaning. For ease in moving the adjustment knob, place handle in operating position and tilt cleaner back to remove weight from front wheels. Step on handle release to pull handle back to a comfortable operating position. To lower handle completely to the floor, depress handle release a second time. Store Operate

Before cleaning under low furniture, check area first for objects that might harm the unit or block the vacuum hose.

NOTE: While using accessories, do not place cleaner on furniture or steps as the brush roll may cause damage. Place cleaner on floor with the handle in storage position.

1. To use accessories remove hose from rear of cleaner by lifting up and twisting. Place desired accessory onto end of hose or wand.
