[. . . ] If you wish to use your appliance while the cartridge filter is drying, you may use the extra cartridge filter inserted in the packaging box. Insert the cartridge filter into its place (B) and turn it clockwise (A) as indicated in the icon. Put the filter set back into the dust container. Put the dust container back into the cleaner. Close the top cover. 5 Cleaning the motor filters Motorfilter `A' 1. Remove the dust container from the cleaner. Remove the filter set from the dust container by taking it as indicated in the icon. Remove the cartridge filter by turning it counter-clockwise (A) and pull it out (B) as indicated in the icon. Rinse it under tap water and dry it completely. Insert the cartridge filter into its place (B) and turn it clockwise (A) as indicated in the icon. Put the filter set back into the dust container. Put the dust container back into the cleaner. Motorfilter reference number: EF76 Motorfilter `B' 1. Rinse it under tap water and dry it completely. Motorfilter reference number: EF1 Cleaning the micro exhaust filter 8. Open the filter grill to remove the exhaust filter. Rinse it under tap water and dry it completely. Micro exhaust filter reference number: EF2 Note: Do not use cleaning agents and avoid touching the delicate filter surface. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 6 CLEANING THE HOSE AND NOZZLE The vacuum cleaner stops automatically if the nozzle, tube or hose becomes blocked, or the filters are blocked. Disconnect from the mains and allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down for approximately 20-30 minutes. Clear whatever is causing the blockage and/or replace dirty filters. Then restart the vacuum cleaner. Use a cleaning strip or similiar to clear the tubes and hose. It is sometimes possible to clear the hose by "massaging" it.
