[. . . ] S Always use the protecting cap when roughing-down and separating. S Only use tools whose permitted speed is at least as high as the highest no-load speed of the machine. The grinding tool must be properly mounted and turn freely. Perform a test run for at least 30 seconds without load. Do not use damaged, out of round or vibrating grinding tools. S When grinding metal, flying sparks are produced. Take care that no persons are endangered. Because of the danger of fire, no combustible materials should be located in the vicinity (spark flight zone). Pull the protective cap off the spindle. Always disconnect the plug from the socket before carrying out any work on the machine. Lock the work spindle by depressing the spindle lock. When grinding do not apply pressure on the tool but use it with gentle reciprocating movements. For best results when roughing-down keep the disk at an angle of at least 30° to the working surface. Overloading the machine when grinding will damage the angle grinder and results in faster wearing out of the disks. Do not tilt the angle grinder when separating.
