 [. . . ] Wing-nuts on each side arm should face out.  [. . . ] Take remote module (L) out of the box and loosen the wing-nut. Connect the cables of the cable snake to their corresponding pads,  cymbals,  or pedals,  which are printed on the colored band at the end of each cable.  (Note: The cable labeled "hi-hat" is for the cymbal while the one labeled "hi-hat control" is for the pedal. ) Set the KICK TYPE SWITCH on the back of the module to the appropriate setting: "PAD" if you are using the DM6 kick pad and pedal (included) or "SWITCH" if you are using a standard footswitch. Using a 1/8" stereo cable,  connect headphones to the PHONES jack and/or a speaker system or monitors to the OUTPUT jack on the back of the module. Connect the module to a power source with the included power adapter (O).  [. . . ] The DM6 hi-hat pedal (included) can send out four different levels,  allowing you even greater control of your hi-hat sound.  [. . . ]
