There are 4 different mains plugs A, B, C or D available, that connect to the primary contacts [2] by pushing the plug to the stop position [3]. please ensure that the input plug clicks audibly into the housing. To release the input plug, please push the release button [4] (with a pen for example) and move the plug backwards. Please make sure that the power of the cigarette lighter socket is switched on. If the charger operates on AC power, press the START button for about 2 seconds to start the charging process. If the charger operates in the vehicle, the charging process starts automatically after inserting a rechargeable battery. the charge state of each cell will be indicated by one LED (see LED INDICATORS) per charging slot. The cells do not have to be inserted simultaneously as the charging processes are independent from each other. It is normal that cells become warm during charging. After charging is complete, the charger switches automatically to trickle charge. When the charger operates via the mains (100-240V AC), the trickle charge for all inserted cells will automatically switch off after one hour from when the last cell was fully charged. The charger automatically disconnects itself from the mains power by means of the intelligent Zero Watt Technology. It does not consume any electric power even if it remains in the power socket.
