Connect an RF cable (not supplied) from the TV OUT on the converter box to the RF INPUT/ANTENNA on your TV. Insert the jack on the end of the Smart interface cable into the A/C plug adapter. Plug into a standard 120V wall outlet. Antenna DTV Converter Box AV Cable /RF Coaxial or S-Video (Optional) Built-In Coaxial RF Cable A/C Plug Adapter Connect to Converter Box Smart Interface Cable Built-In Coaxial RF Cable OR SETUP TO A SMART COMPATIBLE CONVERTER BOX: Connect to TV TV Connect To a Smart compatible DTV converter box: 1. Screw in the built in coaxial RF cable from the SM620 to the ANTENNA INPUT on your DTV converter box. Connect an RF cable (not supplied) from the TV OUT on the converter box to the RF INPUT/ANTENNA on your television. Insert the jack on the end of the built in Smart interface cable into the Smart connector interface (EIA/CEA909) located on your converter box. Once you are connected, turn on your equipment. Start the AUTO CHANNEL SCAN process on your television or DTV converter box. Performing this function will scan for and lock into memory local digital channels whose signal strength is strong. Note: To rescan for additional channels it is recommended to adjust the location of the antenna slightly. Small adjustments to your antenna can make a difference. · Try elevating and moving the antenna closer to an exterior wall. · Adjust the position of the antenna and perform another auto scan. · Power on both the TV and/or converter box. · Verify the antenna is plugged into an AC wall outlet or connected to a Smart compatible converter box. · Verify the Smart cable inserted into the Smart interface (EIA/CEA-909).
