If the sensor has been covered or there is a large object between the remote control and the sensor, the sensor will not respond. The sensor may not able to receive the remote signal when it is exposed to direct sunlight or a strong artificial light (fluorescent or strobe light). In this case, change the direction of the light or reposition the unit to avoid direct lighting. First Connect (see diagram below) the supplied "All in One Link" Cable to the HT-175 main unit and the Subwoofer, this cable transfers the pre-amp signals for all channels from the main unit to the powered subwoofer. IMPORTANT: Do not connect any of the supplied speakers to any other amplifier. This system has been designed for best performance when connected to the supplied speakers. We do not, therefore, recommend that you connect and use other speakers with this system, doing so will void your warranty. The front and center speakers supplied with this system are magnetically shielded. However, placing them extremely close to a television may result in color distortion on the screen. If this happens, move the speakers a little further away and switch off the television for a couple of minutes.
