7. Starting and Ending a Flight Use the and buttons to highlight Fly and then push the button to enter Fly Mode. When the unit enters Fly Mode it will beep to indicate the current volume setting. The unit will begin recording the ight or the unit may be set to begin recording a ight after a speci ed change in altitude. This value is set in the "Settings" menu.

Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to end the ight and exit "Fly" mode.

Fly Mode - This screen displays the absolute altitude as indicated by the "Abs" (or relative altitude as indicated by "Rel" if selected in the Settings menu). This screen also displays the averaged vertical speed during the past (default=20seconds).

8. Fly Mode By brie y pressing any of the four buttons during the ight, the screen will temporarily display other ight information for 5 seconds and then return to the default screen. Remember a long press of the button will exit "Fly Mode" completely and stop the recording of ight data.

Press the button to view the current time & ight duration. Brie y Press the button to change the "Volume" during a ight. Then use the and buttons to adjust the volume.

9. Viewing the Log Book Use the and buttons to highlight Log Book and then push the button to enter the Log Book. This unit can store summary data for 200 ights. Pushing the and buttons will scroll through the recorded ights. Pressing the button will allow you to see additional ight details as described on the next page. The data in the log book will be saved, even if the battery is completely discharged or the unit is reset.

Log Book - This is the rst page you will see when entering the log book. It displays the ight number, date, launch time, and duration of the ilght. Note that the ight data starts recording after a preset (default=5 meter) altitude change has been detected while in ight mode. The unit stops recording ight data when the user exits the ight mode.
