[. . . ] PRODUCT SHEET Product: Segment : Division: SV 07 Defense Security Communication SV 07 enableS mobile communication The Ascom Supply Unit SV 07 enables the uninterruptable and emission free supply of communication equipment in vehicles, remote stations and containers. The Supply Unit SV 07 provides electrical power for communication equipment with 24VDC nominal voltage. It is optimized for operation of sensitive radio receivers and gets supplied by different sources such as AC mains, generator or vehicle power. An additional system battery covers peak demands and supplies uninterrupted power. [. . . ] The system battery is charged and the other loads are fed via SV 07. Charging of Vehicle Battery If the vehicle battery is connected to 9 [System Accu] the vehicle battery is charged. Charging current is automatically limited to 20A max. Housing, Cooling, Ventilation The Supply Unit SV 07 is available in a 19'' housing. It is intended for use in a wheeled vehicle. The housing is made of aluminium and complies with IP55. Internal cooling is realised using a passive cooling system. If required, external ventilation of the cooling element can be achieved through an optional external fan. Operation of the external fan is controlled by SV 07. Cables connected to SV 07 do not require shielding.
