Chassis Fan Connector (3-pin CHA_FAN1) (see p. 11 No. 23) GND +12V CHA_FAN_SPEED Please connect a chassis fan cable to this connector and match the black wire to the ground pin. Please connect a CPU fan cable to this connector and match the black wire to the ground pin. CPU Fan Connector (4-pin CPU_FAN1) (see p. 11 No. 3) GND +12V CPU_FAN_SPEED FAN_SPEED_CONTROL Though this motherboard provides 4-Pin CPU fan (Quiet Fan) support, the 3-Pin CPU fan still can work successfully even without the fan speed control function. If you plan to connect the 3-Pin CPU fan to the CPU fan connector on this motherboard, please connect it to Pin 1-3. Pin 1-3 Connected 3-Pin Fan Installation 25 ATX Power Connector (20-pin ATXPWR1) (see p. 11 No. 2) Please connect an ATX power supply to this connector. It is not necessary to use this connector, but please connect it with a hard disk power connecor when two graphics cards are plugged to this motherboard at the same time. Please connect the blue connector on the cable of this USB bracket to the USB 2. 0 header (USB23, USB45, or USB67) and fasten the USB bracket to the chassis with screws. 27 2. 9 HDMI_SPDIF Header Connection Guide HDMI (High-Definition Multi-media Interface) is an all-digital audio/video specification, which provides an interface between any compatible digital audio/ video source, such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver and a compatible digital audio or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV). A complete HDMI system requires a HDMI VGA card and a HDMI ready motherboard with a HDMI_SPDIF header. This motherboard is equipped with a HDMI_SPDIF header, which provides SPDIF audio output to HDMI VGA card, allows the system to connect HDMI Digital TV/projector/LCD devices.
